Nowhere in this message have you asked for the contents of /etc/yum.repos.d/CentOS-Base.rep. Please search the thread as I have.

Code: Select all

# CentOS-Base.repo

# update status of each mirror to pick mirrors that are updated to and
# geographically close to the client. You should use this for CentOS updates
# unless you are manually picking other mirrors.
#
# If the mirrorlist= does not work for you, as a fall back you can try the
# remarked out baseurl= line instead.

I'm sorry, but it's right here: http://www.atomicorp.com/forum/viewtopi ... 264#p35264

Anyway, your repo file looks stock. I guess one of those httpd-devel packages is 32-bit and the other 64-bit. You can check by running this:

Code: Select all

rpm -q --queryformat="%{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}" httpd-devel
You can remove the package for a specific architecture by appending it to the package name like this:

Code: Select all

yum remove httpd-devel.i386
Or you can just get rid of both versions:

Code: Select all

yum remove httpd-devel

Thank you. I would not install a 32-bit on a 64-bit. Maybe my customer did and this causes me to wonder. I have upgraded PHP many times but 5.3 almost always seems to break.
