Speedometer

Speedometer lets one "measure and display the rate of data across a network connection or data being stored in a file" and it's pretty cool. Check it out at http://excess.org/speedometer/
Speedometer 2.8 requires Python 2.6 and python-urwid. These are both available in the base EL6 repository. Could Atomic provide an RPM?
EL5 doesn't have urwid and comes with Python 2.4, but also has python26* packages in the base repository, some maybe an EL5 version is also feasible?
