Eaccelerator crash on PHP 5.3.x (CentOS 5/6)

Unread post by Bierteufel »

Hallo,

on new Centos 5 or 6 Installation with PSA 11 and PHP 5.3.23 (atomic repo) php-eaccelerator crashes on PHP Scripts:

Code: Select all

PHP 5.3.23 (cli) (built: Mar 15 2013 11:53:16)
Copyright (c) 1997-2013 The PHP Group
Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2013 Zend Technologies
with eAccelerator v0.9.6-svn358-dev, Copyright (c) 2004-2007 eAccelerator, by eAccelerator
with the ionCube PHP Loader v4.2.2, Copyright (c) 2002-2012, by ionCube Ltd.
(EACCELERATOR: PHP crashed on opline xx)

Any Idea ?

With PHP 5.2.x there are no problems with Eaccelerator , only PHP 5.3.x !

Maybe not the answer you would like to hear but I would not use eaccelerator anymore. For three years no development.
And also during the time it was supported the errors where quite frequent.
I would try APC instead.
also zend is causing a lot imcompatibilities and crashes with different other applications.
