Does anyone have guides or instructions on removing Dr. Web and installing ClamAV I found some online but wanted to ask here as well.

Can I use your repo for free?

For SpamDyke, can I just install that package and can I get the package name for the haggybear GUI and will that work OK with 8. Any instructions for these?

Is it generally safe to run a yum upgrade on a Plesk 8.3 server?

THats a very good guide, addendum if you are using postfix, replace the "yum install qmail-scanner" step with "yum install clapf"

I'm confused. How can you still be running Plesk 8?

I understood that Plesk (Parallels) would be cancelling all the old licenses, and all control panels would stop working.

(my ISP told me this; which is why I dumped Plesk)

I found the way to harden Plesk, was to remove it and install Virtualmin.

I'm not too sure about that but mine is still working?

none of our test images of 8.6 stopped working, that said you should absolutely upgrade to 10 or higher. 8.x has a number of unresolvable critical vulnerabilities

We are trying to get rid of the server all together as it is only being used for Email by customers and are not provisioning new accounts.

I am still not totally versed in Plesk but if I run a yum upgrade would that be safe or would it probably mess something up along the way?

It'll be fine, it was designed to work with the vendors update system.
