Can't Upgrade to 4

Unread post by markb1439 »

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and found a solution?

On our cPanel servers, we can't upgrade from ASL 3.2 to 4. We run the installer, and everything seems to happen properly (no error messages, we are prompted to reinstall the database, etc.).

But, after this process, ASL is still at 3.2. Running asl -v confirms that we are still at 3.2. The output shows the current version followed by "UNSUPPORTED. An update is available." But we apparently have no way to update.

We are able to install ASL 4 from scratch successfully on a server with no previous ASL installation. But we have existing servers where we need to upgrade.

We're running CentOS 6.5 64-bit on DigitalOcean VPSs (KVM).

Any ideas?

Thanks!
