compliance mode, PCI

Unread post by getsolidstate »

In the gui ->asl configuration -> general -> compliance, it tells me that PCI is not recommended by ASL.
Could someone explain why this is the case?

I use ASL for trying to achieve PCI in our servers but that "warning" have always left me mystified and I never enabled it due to it.

The compliance module is really designed for more stringent government and/or regulatory environments. We recommend testing the settings on a QA instance before trying it in production, since the event is one-way, and at this time there is no undo.
