Starting at 3:55 am this morning I started getting alert emails every couple minutes of the following regarding tortixd. I can confirm that this seems to be when my server processed it's auto updates for asl rules. The alerts just keep coming.

Where the rules garbled or something?

Code: Select all

Command executed: /sbin/service tortixd restart Exit value: 1 Signal number: 0 Dumped core?: 0

Stopping tortixd: [FAILED]

Starting tortixd: Syntax error on line 15 of /var/asl/etc/httpd/modsecurity.d/tortix_waf.conf:
ModSecurity: Failed to open the audit log file: /var/asl/etc/httpd/@@WAF_LOGPATH@@/audit_log
[FAILED]

Try running aum -uf to update your templates, that should clear it up

For some reason it has been stuck at updating maps for like 2 hours, anyway to restart asl without doing a reboot so I can run "aum -uf".
