Heartbleed

Customer support forums for Atomic Protector (formerly Atomic Secured Linux). There is no such thing as a bad question here as long as it pertains to using Atomic Protector. Newbies feel free to get help getting started or asking questions that may be obvious. Regular users are asked to be gentle. :-)

Heartbleed

Unread post by redpaint »

Hello,

Obviously there has been a catastrophic failure in the fundamental security of OpenSSL which will have huge implications for many of us.

We will all need to update our own systems but I am interested to know if Atomicorp uses OpenSSL and if you have patched your version of OpenSSL. Everyone logs in to the GUI and subsequently connects to your servers for authentication and updates using SSL. Access to these keys and passwords could compromise the entire security suite.

Can you please provide information on the patch status and guidance on what needs to be changed e.g. our ASL login passwords and updating via aum.

Thank you
scott
