How do i whitelist newrelic? the newrelic panel is missing a couple of reporting sources as compared to servers not running ASL.

Not sure I understand what you are trying to do. What is your application trying to do that it cant?

Newrelic is a server monitoring service, I use it to get a birds eye view of my server's condition. ASL seems to be blocking some of the reports it sends out, servers running Newrelic with ASL seem to report everything fine.

How does newrelic send out these reports, via email? If so, ASL doesnt block email. Or are you referring to something else? Perhaps you mean some part of newrelic isnt working, for example it cant read /proc entries? I'm still not clear on what you are unable to use with this product, if you can help me to understand I'm sure I can help you resolve this issue. If you can expand on whats not working we can nail this down.

With that said, what events is ASL reporting in the ASL web console when you are having difficulty using your application?

And what error(s) is your application reporting? (Does it have a log file, and what is it reporting?)

Could you specify what exactly is missing? There is several data that monitoring agents could try to collect in a way that is protected on ASL systems.
