Las Vegas actually has a lot to offer for families. They have housing communities that have recreational cents, swimming pools, and more. This helps making living in the desert palatable to many. But it sure gets hot! My company was first based in Vegas.
But you might like where I live now -- at 6,400 feet high in the mountains. We have the four seasons: winter, spring, summer and fall. We normally have a short spring/summer followed by a fall/winter. First snow can fall as earlier as September. We have three lakes and ski resorts. Us poor people watch you folks...
