has anyone ever setup quotas on a netapp filer that is being used with their psa installation?

specifically:
1. is it possible to make mail and other app data pull from the same quota pool? or are you stuck with making a @mbox.quota and then setting a quota for the ftp user?
2. what method are you using to sync the quotas?

You know a long long time ago I was running PSA and NFS to a SAN. Its been a few years, but if you look through some of the older articles on the postnuke site, I think I documented how I fixed quotas.
