Upgrading Plesk 7.5.4 on FC2 to FC3

i've a box, with Plesk 7.5.4, FC2, updated and upgraded through ART rpm.

I am planning to move to FC3 (if possible, FC4), I am totally lost about doing it.

I have 100+ domains on the server and really need to upgrade ASAP without losing the data (please do not ask why I want to upgrade).

I can have a minimum downtime for this server for upto 2 hours.

Is there any guide availble or any procedure available for this?

I documented a procedure in my book that would let you set up a new server, transfer the data to it, and use some firewall rules to NAT the traffic to the new box from the old one while the DNS update (takes about 24 hours) is going on. If you do it right, you wont have any down time.

Id just install FC3 (or whatever) on a new server and do a migration from one to the other, then just retire the old one. Its the safest way, and you'll avoid any down time. If you're thinking of a hot upgrade to a live system, thats possible too, but I'd plan on a good solid day of downtime to do it.

that is the ultimate and relatively best way to move. get a new server, get new OS, move data to that server, and retire old one.

and that is what i am going to do now :) (great chance to upgrade all my servers)
