hello . . . we have php installed under /opt/atomic/atomic-php55/root, and we need to keep that there.

the problem is, i'm not sure how to install PECL under there?? specifically, PECL-APC??

i did some searching in the forum, but couldn't find anything.

interesting . . . i just found this:

APC is unlikely to ever support PHP 5.5 since 5.5 comes with a bundled opcode cache now. Basically APC is in basic maintenance mode at this point with no further development planned.
