Problem installing openvas on Centos 6

I need to install Openvas on Centos 6. I've tried the documented procedure using the atomicorp repo and yum install openvas. This results in missing library errors. Is the a working procedure to install Openvas version 6, 7 or 8 on Centos 6, possibly with installing each rpm individually?
