Plesk 8.3 duplicate emails

Unread post by jmackenz »

Hello There,

since updating to 8.3 , my server has been recieving duplicate emails. Looking in the maillog I see no reference to the second instance.

I'm running on 2.6.9-42.EL , I also run 4psa spam guardian.

stopping spamassin service makes no change, if I delete and recreate the account, I don't see duplicates for about an hour.

any ideas?

Duplicate emails

Unread post by kram »

Hi jmackenz,

I am having the same problem, and can not find any resolution to this problem. I also found that the duplicate emails have different headers.

One if spamassassin and the other has no spam headers.

I am also using 4PSa Spam guardian.

I found that it had installed psa-spamassassin when I updated.

I did :

yum remove psa-spamassassin
yum remove drweb* (if you don't use dr-web)
yum remove spamassassin
yum install spamassassin

download spamguardian again and re-run install script, all is now good.

hope it works for you.

Hi jmackenz,

Yip turns out the issues was due to old version of S GAURDIAN.
Upgraded to new version, all duplicate emails gone!

Hi Mark ,

What version of spamassassin are you running that solved this problem?
