I've got my vps reinstalled with fedora core 6.
I want to use the atomic packages but is it so that i can install plesk from the atomic repository or do i have to use the plesk autoinstaller and go from there ?
Updating the php version of the server whn plesk is on it, how does that work? Just yum update php ?

You are aware Fedora Core 6 is no longer receiving OS security fixes?
You can install using yum or using Plesk's autoinstaller. Plesk's autoinstaller lets you select which Plesk components to install, so that might be nice for your first install.
If you want the latest PHP packages from ART check the wiki: http://www.atomicorp.com/wiki/index.php/PHP
