OK.. About to sign up for ASL but have a couple more questions first...
I noticed the latest version is for PSA8.4.. but I have been reading many many problems with the latest version of Plesk. Should I upgrade?? Does atomic have fixes for the problems?? or are the problems unfounded??
Also.. have been getting attcked a fair bit in the last week. Have blocked the IP and can not see any new IP's in the logs.. but still being attacked??
ASL will fix this I hope.. but what can I look for in the mean time??
Also.. Is ASL a simple install.. for a layman like me??
About to subscribe.. but first....
The only problem we know with Plesk 8.4.0.1 is that Domainkeys is broken, but if you not activate it there is no problem at all as far as I can see and what we use. ASL is (normally) not very hard to install, the config would be some reading work on this forum and in the wiki’s. There is also the support from ASL if things are not going smooth.
So far ASL blocked all the attacks on our servers, so 100%
Good luck!

To clarify, one of the new features of Plesk 8.4 is Domain Keys. It is switched off by default, if you do not switch it on, there will be no problems and all domain e-mail accounts will continue to operate without any issues.
Plesk 8.4 is not a requirement for ASL, it runs just fine on 8.3, but it will alert you to security issues with Horde (if enabled).
We run ASL/Plesk 8.4 and everything is fine, ASL blocks dozens of attack attempts per day.
