mail foreward with mailbox question

Ok, If I setup a mailbox and then have the mail redirected to another mail address, will the mail also still be in the mail box of the initial account?

I'm trying to get all mail that is sent to one account be available to that person and yet have it sent also to his boss.

Under the settings for the email account, turn the Mailbox setting ON if you wish to receive a copy of the mail before its forwarded on.
