Exclude services from PSMON

How do I exclude “named” and “clamd” from PSMON? I tried to change etc/psmon.conf but PSMON is still trying to start "named" but "named" is not running. Is it also possible to limit the mails from PSMON? Thx!

just turn it off in setup, or if you want to do it the hard way use chkconfig. When you run asl -s -f it looks at what is supposed to be running based on your settings (from setup) and monitors accordingly.

I am not sure what you mean by "Turn it off in setup" you mean in the ASL.conf?

No, just type "setup"
