ASL problem not showing notifies and some secs down

Unread post by CrK01 »

Hi all,

I have purchased 2 days ago the ASL pack, great work since now.

My only problem seems that 2 modules aren't operating and some info isn't displayed.

here is a screen:

where can I view logs ?

This is my first installation of ASL and I used the automated wget..

thanks !

The PaX thing is your kernel. If you've installed the latest ASL kernel you may still need to reboot. The easiest way to know is to do

Code: Select all

#rpm -qa kernel
#uname -a
If your uname does not match the highest level of kernel then reboot and that should fix it. Not sure on the denyhosts problem. Are you receiving notifications of it working?

ok thanks,

denyhosts is working OK.

I haven't rebooted my server so OK.

My last question is why I can't view the security events. Is there a general log file about ASL's functions ? ( not services such as denyhosts etc )

thanks,

Sorry for my redundance, the problem is solved ( just a sleep and when I wake up, all is showing again ;)
