Is this SQL update would you say safe for a production server running plesk?

If it is ready Scott will push the update to the stable channel. So just wait for that.

100% great. Plesk runs just perfectly and its on my 28 domain server thats full of mysql / php based forums and joomla sites.

So if this was fedora updates I give it a karma +3
