Is it possible to set Ossec to send an email once or twice a day maximum ?
Hello IT.
Phone : Blah Blah ....
Have you tried turning it on and off again ?
Phone : Blah Blah ....
....

Yes, in ASL just change this line:

OSSEC_MAX_MSG="1"

You can also change the frequency with this:

<frequency>7200</frequency>
