problem with SPF

Unread post by CrK01 »

Hello all,

I have a centOS 5.3, with ASL and all stuff, I recently updated to psa9 without problems, well I thought

Analyzing the maillog log I could read some SPF records errors, minimal and warnings, but installing tomcat5 with the paralells installer I have this:

System error 2: No such file or directory
/usr/lib/plesk-9.0/mail_responder_restore[27282]: Unable to get string from file: /usr/local/psa/handlers/info/90-autoresponder-y0GRns/hook

How could I restore that ?

I am haivng a similar problem in that I am also getting the message

@attachments directory is big enough to disable delivery!

Not sure really what that means or how to fix it. Not really a high priority for me since we odnt use the plesk servers for mail, but I would still like to know for my own info.

With regards to: "WARNING: @attachments directory is big enough to disable delivery!"

I found this reply on Parallel's forum whilst researching this error and it could be related:

http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=94473
"You can simply ignore this messages. They do not indicate that mchk failed to restore mail service settings.

These errors are somewhat debug information and they can arrive in the following situation: you have domain that has mail addresses configured with disabled mailbox - for example used as redirects. On domain you have mail qouta enabled. And even though mailboxes are configured only as redirects directory for these mailboxes are created so when utility runs it calculates total size of directories used by mail accounts on domains and if it finds that total size is greater than qouta limit on domain it gives such error.

This problem was fixed in version 9 and since then utiltiy does not produce such warnings."
I am busy upgrading from 9.2.3 to 9.3 and I'm getting loads of these errors. I will just be ignoring them.

huye guys,,,,
I reply to this very old post... because of a problem with SPF.

I probably misunderstand something.

My problem :
I have a domain, using his own IP.
Mails for this domain are send with SMTP.
This domain send a lot of messages everyday.

It is necessary, that messages are sent with his own IP and not with the shared IP of the server.

As I read in your post, that is not possible ?
