Looking for help with installation on 1&1 Root Server
Re: Looking for help with installation on 1&1 Root Server
best is to start with a centos image from 1and1. then you have the grub bootloader allready.
the reason why this error shows up is because you did not provide a correct mirrorsite where all necessary files are stored.
use a correct mirror site.

Re: Looking for help with installation on 1&1 Root Server
the only difference between 4.7 and 4.8 is the latter has more hardware drivers and all the updates.
Re: Looking for help with installation on 1&1 Root Server
many people have told me that, but the support of my partner don't think so and don't want to testscott wrote:the only difference between 4.7 and 4.8 is the latter has more hardware drivers and all the updates.

Re: Looking for help with installation on 1&1 Root Server
I met the issue:
I have only one iso and don't know how to modify the loop for searching the iso, and it always downloads the iso and saves it as "*.iso.1" and the process stops and says "Error, can't find the Image"

Thank you, I will try the 4.8.scott wrote:Try 4.8
One question, is it possible, that I saved the iso in sda1 and after reboot the new 4.8 will also be installed in the same partition (sda1) and that caused the issue?

Re: Looking for help with installation on 1&1 Root Server
