Transaction Check Error: file /usr/bin/deliverquota from install of maildrop-1.8.1-1.rhfc3.art conflicts with file from package courier-imap-3.0.8-fc3.build75050824.12
file /usr/bin/maildirmake from install of maildrop-1.8.1-1.rhfc3.art conflicts with file from package courier-imap-3.0.8-fc3.build75050824.12
First I installed Plesk 7.5.4
Then ClamAV, SpamAssassin and when i was going to install QMail-Scanner I got this error.
Also I'm wondering why I could install a qmail-scanner setup (including maildrop) on Plesk 7.5.4 on Fedora Core 3, but cannot upgrade courier-imap on Fedora Core 2 because I have maildrop installed.
What files are conflicting on FC2, but apparently not on FC3?
When I try to upgrade using the psa-75 channel from ART I get these errors, which I guess are a bit more specific:
Running test transaction:
Errors reported doing trial run
file /usr/bin/deliverquota from install of courier-imap-3.0.8-fc2.build75050824.12 conflicts with file from package maildrop-1.8.1-1.rhfc2.art
file /usr/bin/maildirmake from install of courier-imap-3.0.8-fc2.build75050824.12 conflicts with file from package maildrop-1.8.1-1.rhfc2.art
I removed qmail-scanner and maildrop, succesfully upgraded all Plesk packages tot 7.5.4 and then reinstalled qmail-scanner including maildrop. Apparently the courier-imap upgrade from Plesk 7.5.4 won't install when maildrop 1.8.1 from ART is installed, but maildrop does install when the courier-imap upgrade is already installed.
bruen, can you post details of what you did? I am having this problem, and it would be great to resolve it on my end instead of scott having to do it on his end.
breun, it didn't work for me. I have updated to Plesk 7.54 from 7.53 without the qmail-scanner and maildrop using the "yum update". Everything went well. but when I installed the qmail-scanner and maildrop, it had conflit with courier-imap.
My machine runs FC2 as well and this worked for me. The Plesk courier-imap update said it had a conflict with maildrop, but when I removed maildrop and reinstalled it after the Plesk upgrade it worked.
