I installed mod_security from the atomic repo about a year ago and all went well. Today I tried to upgrade (yum upgrade) and i received the following:
Resolving Dependencies
--> Running transaction check
---> Package mod_security.x86_64 0:2.5.13-1.el5.art set to be updated
--> Processing Dependency: asl-stream-client for package: mod_security
--> Finished Dependency Resolution
mod_security-2.5.13-1.el5.art.x86_64 from atomic has depsolving problems
--> Missing Dependency: asl-stream-client is needed by package mod_security-2.5.13-1.el5.art.x86_64 (atomic)
Error: Missing Dependency: asl-stream-client is needed by package mod_security-2.5.13-1.el5.art.x86_64 (atomic)
You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest
I tried the various suggestions given above to no avail, and then I stupidly removed mod_security to reinstall it and nwo can't get it back because of this dependancy issue.
I am running CentOs 5.3 and recently updated to Plesk 10. How come I can no longer install mod_security by itself?

Re: Mod_security now wants ASL???
Oh right, sorry about that. Its tagged as the ASL version in the atomic repo. asl-stream-client is the malware upload scanner
