Plesk 9.5 receiving 'root' email
Plesk 9.5 receiving 'root' email
I have a Plesk 9.5.4 install on a CentOS 5.5 box. I am trying to configure Plesk to send all 'root' emails to an external email address with no luck. I have changed the '/etc/aliases' file to no avail. I am using Postfix. Any ideas?
Re: Plesk 9.5 receiving 'root' email
Well, I don't know about Postfix nor 9.x but I'm assuming the rules have not changes so this will hopefully work for you:
All you need is to set up hosting for a domain that's the same as the hostname of the system, then add a root mailbox, then set that to forward to wherever you want.
Same goes for postmaster et al.
If you've already done this then....hopefully someone who knows 9.x/Postfix will know the trick.
Faris.
