Php client API 3.23 on 4.1.14?

Php client API 3.23 on 4.1.14?

Will this cause conflicts with programs???

When will you be able to use the new mysql api?

This ones in the FAQ, but the short version is yes, its supposed to do that for compatibility reasons.

I know its in the FAQ I didnt word my question well enough,

something to do with passwords being different in 4.1.x than 4.0.xx and using the api 3.23.xx for php messing that up... but that turned out not to have anything to do with php and I fixed it in mysql.
