Missing CentOS4/ES4 dependancies

Unread post by garan »

I'm getting the following failed dependancies when I try to do a yum install psa-atomic on my CentOS4 box.

Code: Select all

Error: Missing Dependency: chkrootkit is needed by package atomic-psa
Error: Missing Dependency: tnef is needed by package qmail-scanner
Error: Missing Dependency: libmcrypt is needed by package php-mcrypt
Error: Missing Dependency: libmcrypt.so.4 is needed by package php-mcrypt
and

Code: Select all

Error: spamassassin conflicts with psa-spamassassin <= 7.5.3
Can anyone help?

My yum.conf has the following entries:

Code: Select all

[atomic]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - 4ES - Atomic PSA-Compatible RPMS
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/art/4ES/
baseurl=http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/art/4ES/

[psa-7.5]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - 4ES - SW-Soft PSA 7.5 RPMS
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/psa-7.5/4ES/
baseurl=http://www.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomic/psa-7.5/4ES/

[base]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - 4ES - Base OS RPMS mirror
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/3rd-party/base/4ES/

[updates]
name=Atomic Rocket Turtle - 4ES - OS Update RPMS mirror
baseurl=http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/3rd-party/updates/4ES/
Cheers,

Garan.

[atomic] should be the archive with chkrootkit, tnef, libmcrypt, but it's not in there.

See this page about the spamassassin error.

Yup. I'd already read that thread... I ended up kludging the install but that's not for this thread :)
