GeoIP package from EPEL newer than ASL

Customer support forums for Atomic Protector (formerly Atomic Secured Linux). There is no such thing as a bad question here as long as it pertains to using Atomic Protector. GeoIP package from EPEL newer than ASL

The GeoIP package is used by ASL.
The ASL yum channel provides in GeoIP-1.4.8-1.1.
The EPEL yum repository recently released GeoIP-1.5.1-5.

Is ASL compatible with this newer GeoIP package from EPEL?
