Deleting qmailscan quarantine

Unread post by Jason Lee »

My QmailScanner Quarantine contains over 1700 infected emails.
Is it safe to just delete these quarantined emails? And is it possible to modify qmailscanner to delete the files immediately instead of moving them to quarantine?

You might want to look on the qmail-scanner mailing list or website for that, Im sure theres a way to do it.

heh it appears that the writer of qmail-scanner doesnt have a "setting" for "Do not quarantine" ..... i wonder if one could mv the directory and make a symlink to /dev/null for it? curious

I just run a cron that deletes the quarantine files every hour.
