installing GD2 without all the dependancies

Unread post by cjharman »

Hey Guys,

I am using ART for my updates and installs... i am trying to install php-gd, and listed in the dependancies is mysql 5.x and php 5.x ... I really don't want to upgrade these 2 items, but yet install GD2 ... is there any way around this?

Thanks!
Joe

I dont recall doing any mysql 5 rpms, but otherwise yes, that php-gd is the php 5.0 package. You can't really separate it .
