header section missing for 4ES?

Unread post by gorgon »

Howdy,

A few days ago I started getting this error when running up2date on a RedHat 4ES system:

An HTTP error occurred:
URL: http://3es.atomicrocketturtle.com/atomi ... eader.info
Status Code: 404
Error Message: Not Found

I looked at the repository and indeed, the headers directory is missing. This seems to have started a week or so ago; just didn't have the time to look into it until today.

There seem to be headers directories in other repositories. I saw the News post about removing the [base] and [updates] mirrors for all distributions but this is the [atomic] mirror. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
mikeS

Ah you must be using an old version of yum, newer versions use the repodata now. You're on RHEL I take it? Make sure you upgrade yum when you get a chance, to 2.1 or 2.2.

Ah, that did it. Don't know why I had such an old version of yum on there. :)

Thanks for your help!
