Isn't Spam Assasin Free?
Hey there!
Are you guys purchasing spam assasin from swsoft or are you just installing the free version??? I have always been a little T-off that i have to buy this functionality for our server...
if there is a free way to do it, can someone post a link here

Hey Scott... I did a yum update spamassassin... no problems... when i ran a sa-update i got the following
When I run the yum update zlib, it says i have the current version.. what do you recommmend?
I ran the yum install qmail scanner and go the following..
I ran a yum update drweb-qmail to see if it was a version issue... it didn't appear to be? any advise?[/code]

Do i need to update this yum configuration .. i was origianlly running centos 3.3 ... but from within my plesk control panel the components are saying things like centos 3.6 (ex. 3.1.3-centos3.6.build81061129.22) now
I did run the yum update and i got the following error

I ran yum remove psa-drweb...
then ran yum install qmail-scanner

So the good news is I added that into the installer, the bad news... its centos3 which uses the older version of yum that doesnt work with it. So now you'll get a message that says your distribution isnt supported 
On the second problem, you need the base channel for your distro. If you're on a VPS your hosting company hates you, and wants your box to get owned. So they dont support yum.
