Plesk 8.1.0 Courier-Imap / qmail case sensitive logins

Unread post by jetblacktib »

I upgraded and now pop3/imap/webmail require logins formed in the same case of the domain setup.

Does anyone know how to turn this annoyance off?

yeah look under the mail settings in the CP. There should be a flag for "complex logins" or something like that.

I looked all over and there are no settings for that anywhere.

Has to be in the config files somewhere. I've been searching all over and can't find anything that describes what to do.

The problem is if the domain on the system was setup as DOMAIN.COM users have no now enter their logins for webmail/pop/imap as user@DOMAIN.COM instead of user@domain.com

This is my mail settings options I have available while in the 8.1.0 CP of Plesk.

I don't have any case sensitive settings, only short or long options.

I believe the new version of Courier-imap adheres to new rules regarding mail box names.
