Kernels not booting on Centos4.4

Running Centos 4.4 and installed the 4ES kernels, but they don't boot. The SMP kernel immediately reboots the machine, the non SMP one starts kudzu informing me that the network cards have dissapeared from the system.

Any suggestions, thanks.

hi,
i am in the situation that i cant update the art kernel on centos 4.4 and vmware.
the first installation is ok, after that iget kernelpanic when i update..... dont know why...

nope, i still cant use the newest asl kernel :-(

You might want to try the asl-test channel. I was able to successfully boot into the 2.6.17-1.artsmp kernel without problems.

Its because they change module names around, mptscsih goes away. You're best off contacting support@atomicorp.com so I can track these in our CRM.
