Last access on mailbox

Hi there, have been googling a bit but cant seem to figure out how to find out
when a user last accessed their mail. I have about 8000 e-mail addresses and would like to know which are dormant.

Any help would be appreciated.

Youd have to look through your maillogs, otherwise the OS doenst track email accounts like it does shell acounts through the wtmp.

You might be able to identify dormant mailboxes by checking for old unread messages in the mailbox folders (/var/qmail/mailnames)
