Plesk Awstats Dynamic Solution

Does anyone have a solution for the Plesk Linux AWstats inplementation which doesn't allow for viewing of stats from previous months/years, I'd really like to implement something without having to install AWstats individually on each domain in CGI mode.

The Plesk 8.2 changelog mentions this is fixed.

Now I look at the changelog again I don't see the awstats fix mentioned. Maybe it's in the What's New pdf or something. Or maybe I have been dreaming.
