spamassassin update - watchdog monitoring is broken

we monitor spamassassin in ASL if that helps at all.

Scott,

Can you tell me how to do that please? I would love the later spamassassin, but without watchdog able to restart it automatically I can't use it.

Also will it (ASL) notify whehn it is restarted, also how often does it check?

Yep it can notify you, it monitors every minute. Take a look at /etc/psmon.conf.

By default its already set to notify, and the next release has even more to it on that side (out on the 28th), including automatic configuration.

Hi Scott,

Thanks I see the file, but there is no spamassassin in the psmon file :(

What needs to be added for it?

Also the new version is very close, so hopefully it will be included in the new version as well?

same issue here.
watchdog thinks SA is down.
any ideas yet?

i guess i'll try psmon....
