Import spam database

Unread post by NightStorm »

I just upgraded to your newest release of Spam through the yum repository... I probably shouldn't have though, since my spam filters seem to have forgotten everythign they had learned this past 2 months... I went from 2 spam messages slipping through a day, to 30 again.
I seem to recall a command that I could issue that would import the prior configurations "learned" database... since this upgrade seems to have forgotten everything I taught it, is there a command still that I can issue with SSH to bring me back to my spamd's more educated version?

right, the bayes db format changed between SA 2.x.x and 3.x.x, as I recall you have to do --sync and then --import. Check out the spamassassin website for the nitty gritty, or the man pages for more info.
