Cannot send email 451 qq - clamdscan: corrupt or unknown

After a server reboot, I ran qmail-scanner-reconfigure and no longer appear to be able to send emails. Outlook is giving a 451 qq temporary error and looking at the mailog I'm getting lots of

clamdscan: corrupt or unknown clamd scanner error or memory/resource/perms problem - exit status 512/2

I've tried uninstalling the lot, reinstalling, reconfiguring. The permissions on the log files are -

What OS and what version of ClamAV are you running?

You might be able to get mail to work again by disabling ClamAV for now by stopping clamd and running qmail-scanner-reconfigure.

Plesk 8, just pulling down the latest version from art by running yum install clamav clamd and yum install qmail-scanner. Currently just done yum remove on them all so I can get qmail up and running again but now means spam is back to it's pre-art level
