Cannot get channel
I have a clean 1and1 box which I have used AOOI on and have tried to do the upgrade to PHP5.2. and MySql but cannot find it in the channels.
I am very new to this but have noted one typo at http://www.atomicorp.com/channels/plesk/8.1.0/ where the channel has http://http:// in front of it, I presume it should only be one...
The only php version it finds =============================================================================
Package Arch Version Repository Size
=============================================================================
Installing:
php i386 5.0.4-13.rhel4.art atomic 4.0 M
Transaction Summary

Upgrade progress
Scott,
Problems I have:
Step 1 – Remove php-sqlite2. Didn’t have to as it wasn’t installed.
Step 2 – Upgade to php5.2 did this with yum upgrade but it clashed with php-pear
- So removed php-pear
- Upgrade worked, I get php5.2.2
- Can’t reinstall php-pear as it gives:
Error: Missing Dependency: php = 4.3.9-3.22.4 is needed by package php-pear
1and1 box with CentOS installed via your wonderful AOOI.

I think you may be looking at the old archive. Take a look here: http://www.atomicorp.com/channels/atomic/ScholarDave wrote:I have a clean 1and1 box which I have used AOOI on and have tried to do the upgrade to PHP5.2. and MySql but cannot find it in the channels.

Re: Cannot get channel
Thanks, indeed that was my problem at first but it then moved on to not being able to reinstall php-pear. As it's a clean box I may try reinstalling just in case I messed something up with using the wrong channel.breun wrote:I think you may be looking at the old archive. I have updated my servers to these version and just have one small issue that others might like to know. I connect to MySQL using EMS MySQL Manager. When I do I get an error that mysql.proc doesn't exist. Some functions within the program don't work correctly, most notable extracting a database. I haven't noticed anywhere else that this causes any problems (php, mysqldump, etc.). I have found the solution is to run mysql_upgrade http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/ ... grade.html. I have run this on my testing machine and everything seems ok, but I am a little nervous to run this on my production box. Has anyone had any experience running this?

Well, I have found that when trying to create stored procedures through MySQL Manager or through the shell gives the same error. So there is no way to create a stored procedure. This same thing has happened on all my boxes (1 test, 2 production). Anyone else with this same issue? After running the fix I suggested above, my test box seems to add stored procedures ok.
hello
I have updated from the new repo, php 5.2.2 and mysql from 4.0 to 5.0
now some webs have lots and lots of errors ( webs like phpnuke ):
[Thu Jun 07 07:10:01 2007] [error] [client 62.15.128.2xx] PHP Warning: mktime() expects parameter 1 to be long, string given in /var/www/vhosts/HOST.com/httpdocs/blocks/block-Calendar.php on line 85
For example... repeated every 1 second.. and the HTTP loads are growing and growing ! Any qay to rescue it ? or make compatible... and it's a continue loop...
PD: I have fedora core 4 , plesk 8.1.1
