implementing spamcontrol into ART

Unread post by raverX »

howdy

just found out one of my servers has been listed on SpamCop.. and after investigating the situation further the _only_ valid reason I can see for it is the fact it may have bounced a few spam emails back to their sender (standard reaction for NDR's)

i have spamassassin, qmail-scanner, clamav, qgreylist, etc installed and this has been keeping the peace spam wise.. but obviously this isn't enuff

one of the suggestions from SpamCop is to implement SpamControl with Qmail, which will help with bounce messages

URL is here: http://www.fehcom.de/qmail/spamcontrol.html

SpamCop also goes into detail as to why BOUNCES are BAD here

Any chance of something like this entering ART?

If the RBL's are going to get antsy on bounce messages, then it's suffice to say something has to be done on all our servers [sigh]
