Hello anyone..
Just tried to update from 8.1.1 to 8.2.0 and all updated except the 8.2.0 base packages.. Now this is not actually true because if you do a rpm -q xxx package it matches what is in the swsoft/dist*/base dir.
when I do a rpm -q psa I get both versions:
[root@gz root]# rpm -q psa
psa-(none)-8.1.1-rhel3.build81070322.16
psa-(none)-8.2.0-rhel3.build82070706.15
[root@gz root]
I've tried the trick where you edit the version file and put both versions in this file and it chages the build to match each other...
[root@gz root]# more /usr/local/psa/version
8.1.1 RedHat el3 82070807.17
8.2.0 RedHat el3 82070807.17
[root@gz root]#
I had this configured to be
8.1.1 RedHat el3 81070322.16
8.2.0 RedHat el3 82070706.15
and when I try rpm -Uvh --replacepkg * in the /base dir it changes the version file to the one on top.
The title of the page still says PLSK000518110012 Plesk 8.1.1 yet in the updater my only options are 8.2.0 and 8.2.1. I've contacted The Planet tech support but since I have ART's MySQL packages installed they won't help.. (figures)..
What do I need to go look at to get this resolved.. Seems it may just be a MySQL issue but don't want to go changing things incase I break it royally.
Thanks for any help.
