OK.. Where to start...
I have a single web server hosted by ThePlanet.
I have paid 2 seperate "Tech" companies to secure it and ensure it is running at it's optimum. The second company, although I believe did not communicate with me to the fullest.. DID do what I believe is a good job.
BUT.. there were things that I wanted.. and was talked out of. Namely PHP5. I was told that this will break Horde.. although I am sure that there must be fixes for this by now???
I also wanted the server optimized.. but have since found out that "That was not covered", "you'll have to buy another package".. and the best one today was.. "your server is now out of warranty period".. even though to this date I am yet to receive a email from the system like I was spose to.. and a customer that had a form on their site no longer works.
Good work.. yeah I guess.. but not complete.

Anyhow.. enough ranting.. As you can probably guess.... I dont mind paying.. done it twice now haha.. but want to pay someone who is capable of doing the job, doing it right, and doing it complete.

Question 1. Can Scott do this?? (optimization).. and if so.. how much and where do I pay?? (PM or email me please)
Question 2. Subscribing to ASL.. with the security already done to the server.. will ASL still installl / run OK?? will it just wipe the work already done and replace with it's own??

OH.. and I know that some scripts and whatnot will not run on PHP5.. but I have already started to convert sites running on phpbb2 to phpbb3.. so everything else should be fine.

OH.. another note.. I also have 4PSA Clean Server and Spam Guardian installed.

PHP 5 wont break horde, its been in plesk natively since Fedora Core 4. Almost what 4 years now?

Yes we do professional services outside of security, you can always contact sales directly at: sales@prometheus-group.com

As for the security hardening services, I doubt there would be a conflict. Generally those services do little more than update the system, and apply some minor configuration changes to sysctl. In some very rare cases Ive seen them install mod_security, if thats done from an rpm then its a standard upgrade procedure handled by yum, if its a source install then that would have to be backed out.

There wouldnt be any issues with 4PSA products
