I am upgrading servers tommorrow morning problem and getting off of RH9 and PSA 7 and I am probably moving to CentOS 5 and PSA 8.6
My questions for you guys are these:
Is this the best/most compatible combination of OS/PSA?
PSA 8.6 comes with php 4 right? Is it easy to upgrade to PHP 5?
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: PSA 8.6 Question
It's definitely the combination I'd recommend.rkelley wrote:I am upgrading servers tommorrow morning problem and getting off of RH9 and PSA 7 and I am probably moving to CentOS 5 and PSA 8.6

No. Plesk doesn't 'come with' PHP, it just installs whatever version of PHP comes with the distribution you're running. Since CentOS 5 comes with PHP 5.1, you'll get PHP 5.1 by default. If you want you can use ART's atomic repository which has PHP 5.2 packages.PSA 8.6 comes with php 4 right?
The instructions for using ART's atomic PHP packages are here: http://www.atomicorp.com/wiki/index.php/PHPIs it easy to upgrade to PHP 5?
