I am upgrading servers tommorrow morning problem and getting off of RH9 and PSA 7 and I am probably moving to CentOS 5 and PSA 8.6
My questions for you guys are these:
Is this the best/most compatible combination of OS/PSA?
PSA 8.6 comes with php 4 right? Is it easy to upgrade to PHP 5?
Thanks,
Ryan

It's definitely the combination I'd recommend.

No. Plesk doesn't 'come with' PHP, it just installs whatever version of PHP comes with the distribution you're running. Since CentOS 5 comes with PHP 5.1, you'll get PHP 5.1 by default. If you want you can use ART's atomic repository which has PHP 5.2 packages.

The instructions for using ART's atomic PHP packages are here:
