Mail caught by greylisting?

Unread post by coolemail »

Can someone help? I have an email not getting through, and we have always received emails from this user before.

I have Plesk 9.2.3 on CentOS5.4 with ASL.

The maillog shows:

It is over one hour since the greylisting appears to have stopped it, so it should have arrived by now. Can someone tell me where I can find out what has happened to it? And the initial email was from IBM. I think their mail servers would be properly set up!

many thanks in advance.

Just over 3 hrs later the email was delivered. We only knew it was mising because a reply was sent to the original email which we received. That triggered us to check the mail log. I guess that their server took that long to re-send, but just surprised because we have received theirs in the past much quicker.
