Postfix and the Atomic installer

Unread post by Highland »

I had an idea. Why not have the Atomic installer ask you when MTA you want to use and exclude the other for you? Would be a small tweak that would help a lot of users who don't know that doing "yum update psa*" will switch your MTA.

Its assuming postfix over qmail right now. I think it might be at the point where atomic and plesk installers can be separated you're spot on adding that kind of dialog to an installer.

We've got a lot of repo users that arent using plesk and with the way ASL Lite is shaping up it will need to use atomic for dependencies on custom platforms and the Plesk prompt really shouldnt be in there these days. As much as it might delight me to make cpanel and directadmin people go through a bunch of plesk installation questions....

"Upgrade Cpanel to Plesk? [Default: yes] "
"no"
"no is not a valid response. Upgrade Cpanel to Plesk? [Default: yes]"
