I need to upgrade to mysql 4 from 3.23 on a Plesk machine. Tech support says they usually use the mysql site to get the upgrade. I told them about your RPM and they said they'd use that if I like.
My question is does your mysql upgrade work better with Plesk than what they would get directly from mysql.org? I'm guessing it is, but I'm curious what would be the difference? Thanks, Mike

ART's rpm's can be downloaded and installed via yum. They are compatible with PSA. Just be sure you are on the newest version of PSA atm 7.5.4 and if you are not doing the upgrade yourself, have your tech's search this forum.
Scott has tremendous experience withs PSA and the rpm's he develops contain all the dependent files necessary to install the package you want without having to search all over for RPM's you might miss.
